Wärtsilä’s disclosure policy updated to reflect a change in the company’s reporting languages

Jun 16, 2020, 10:45 by Wärtsilä Corporation

Wärtsilä’s disclosure policy updated to reflect a change in the company’s reporting languages

The official reporting languages used in Wärtsilä’s regulatory disclosures will henceforth be Finnish and English. By discontinuing the use of Swedish as a reporting language, Wärtsilä aims to ensure speed and efficiency in the company’s financial reporting and in the publishing of releases. The low utilisation of material produced in Swedish also contributed to the decision. Wärtsilä’s disclosure policy, originally approved on 23 September 2010, has been updated to reflect the change in reporting languages.

All Swedish language versions of communications material and documents, such as stock exchange releases, press releases, presentations, as well as interim and annual reports, will be available on Wärtsilä’s website until the end of this year, after which the corporate Swedish website will be closed.

The updated disclosure policy is attached to this release and is also available on Wärtsilä’s website at www.wartsila.com/investors.
