Wärtsilä AVT13 Vacuum Toilet with Bulkhead mounting

Vacuum Toilets

Wärtsilä vacuum toilets have been designed to be mechanically simple, operationally reliable, and stylish in appearance. By using only approximately 1 liter of water per flush, the amount of wastewater is dramatically reduced.

The AVT13 vacuum toilets use air to drive waste from the toilet into the treatment tank or intermediate collection tank. The contemporarily styled toilets are equipped with a built-in vacuum breaker and a flush memory. They are simple to install, and supplied as 'ready to connect' units.

The toilets' control mechanisms can be accessed without removing the bowl.

Vacuum Interface Valve

In addition to ship toilets Wärtsilä is also offering Vacuum Interface Valves. The valve enables an easy connection to gravity-based appliances, enabling cost savings and effective integration with the vacuum system piping. The interface valve is reliable, easy to maintain, and has been installed in USN/USCG ships and merchant marine vessels throughout the world.
