Wärtsilä Indirect Procurement is evolving its operations to better meet the needs of a fast-changing global market. As part of this, we are transitioning certain operative and tactical procurement activities to GEP, a globally recognized leader in procurement services and technology. This change will allow us to focus within Wärtsilä on enhancing strategic business partnering, category and supplier management including process development.
The transition will be executed in three regional phases, first the AMER region in September, EMEA in October, and APAC in November 2025. Our new organisation will be fully operational in December 2025.

Our guidelines for suppliers – available under www.wartsila.com/suppliers/guidelines - still apply, as do supplier invoicing instructions.
This partnerhip does not influence our contracts, previous or ongoing purchase orders, or sourcing activities - business will continue as usual. We thank you for your continued trust and collaboration and look forward to a continuing relationship with you in accordance with our agreement(s).
