Wärtsilä is changing invoicing channels in phases during 2026 to enable more efficient and automated invoice processing for our suppliers. The first phase goes live on 20 May 2026 and requires actions from suppliers to ensure there are no interruptions to payments.
Countries impacted:
Wärtsilä entities in Finland, Nigeria, Norway, Poland and Switzerland. Updates for other Wärtsilä companies will follow later in 2026. Stay informed via wartsila.com.
What is changing:
Effective 20 May 2026, Wärtsilä will switch service providers and update its e-invoicing details. E-invoicing is our preferred method. Please find the e-invoicing guidelines here: Send an e-invoice. If e-invoicing is not available for the Wärtsilä entity in the invoice-receiving country, please refer to our PDF invoicing guidelines here: Send PDF invoice
What this means for our suppliers:
Invoicing details are changing for Wärtsilä entities in Finland, Nigeria, Norway, Poland and Switzerland. Starting 20 May 2026, please use the new invoicing details when invoicing Wärtsilä. For e-invoices, our e-invoice operators are TietoEvry, Pagero, and Basware, and the PEPPOL format is supported. For PDF (email) invoices, our new provider is Basware, the email channel for PDF files is @pdf.basware.com.
Our previous email address for receiving purchase invoices for the Wärtsilä entities listed above will no longer be valid.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and for updating your records with the new e-invoicing addresses and PDF invoice scanning email addresses.
