The cargo holds on board trawlers, reefers and deepfreeze vessels are usually insulated with polyurethane foam and finished with special waterproof glued plywood. Instead of polyurethane foam, mineral wool can be applied or the combination of both. The insulated floor, in most cases, is finished with glassfibrereinforced polyester.
