A fully-separated space designed and equipped for the storage of CO2 cylinders. CO2room shall be located aft off the collision bulkhead. As far as possible, the CO2 room should be located on the open deck. If such arrangement is not possible, the room can be located one deck below the open deck and shall have a stairway or ladder leading directly to the open deck. Access doors must open outwards.
