A single-skin or double-skin bulk carrier provided with a cement loading and discharging plant. Most vessels of this type use the principle that when air is pumped through a cement cargo, it acts as if it were liquid. In this way, cement can be loaded easily and, while discharging, can be moved readily to a central trunk at the bottom of holds.
