This engine training course is aimed for ship crew at the Operational and Management levels and power plant Middle or Senior management who have basic knowledge of diesel engine principles together with some operational experience of the diesel engines and preferably with theoretical education on internal combustion engines. The trainees are able to maintain the engine in a safer and economical manner and will make a more effective contribution to the operation of machinery. They will learn the basics of evaluating engine operating parameters and maintenance planning.
