The South African company, Sasolburg Operations, needed skilled operators to manage their 175 MW gas power plant. Therefore they signed a three-year Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreement with Wärtsilä including an extensive and flexible training programme for local Sasol employees. The training package, customized according to each individual’s position and current competence level, was delivered by the Wärtsilä Land and Sea Academy (WLSA).
