This engine training course is designed for staff and crew who are responsible for supervising and carrying out general maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on Wärtsilä engines.
For employees who require competencies in operating and managing Wärtsilä engine automation systems—such as monitoring, diagnostics, and control functions—we recommend enrolling in the UNIC course, which focuses specifically on the automation platform and its integration with engine performance.
General Course Objective: Participants will be able to monitor the Engine W38 operating parameters and identify the actions needed to improve the performance. You will be also able to identify the malfunction, replace and inspect the relevant Engine W38 components.
