This engine training course is designed for staff and crew who need to be able to safely operate the equipment, supervise and perform general maintenance procedures. For employees who need to acquire the necessary familiarity with the design and function of Wärtsilä engines and related systems we recommend the Engine Design and Function training.
General Course Objective:
Participants will be able to monitor the Engine W20DF operating parameters, and identify the actions needed to improve the performance. You should be able also to safely replace the Engine W20DF components accordingly to maintenance plan and procedures.
