Under the terms of the 2002 option scheme the share subscription period began on 1 April 2004. Altogether 200 options were exercised between 16 November and 30 November 2005, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, entitling subscription of 300 Wärtsilä B shares. The increase in share capital resulting from these subscriptions totals EUR 1,050.00.
After the increase the share capital amounts to EUR 329,374,906.00 and the total number of shares to 94,107,116 divided to 23,579,587 Series A shares and 70,527,529 Series B shares.
The company will register the increase in share capital in the Trade Register.
