Wärtsilä has been selected to supply five gas power plants to Azerenerji, the national power company of Azerbaijan. The deal still requires financing arrangements. The power plants will have an aggregate output of 450 MW. Deliveries are scheduled mainly to take place next year. In 2004 Wärtsilä delivered altogether 1,363 MW of power plants.
