The structure of the Wärtsilä Legal Services organization is renewed. Responsibilities are allocated between the corporate legal affairs and business legal functions. Most legal counsels will be dedicated into one of the businesses. In this connection, the following appointments are made:
Ms Riitta Hovi, LLM, MBA, has been appointed Deputy Group General Counsel of Wärtsilä Corporation. She has been working as Group Legal Counsel and she will report to Mr Kari Hietanen, Group Vice President, Legal Affairs & HR.
Ms Sinikka Ilveskoski, LLM, has been appointed Director, Legal Affairs of Ship Power business. She will report to Kari Hietanen and in matrix to Mr Jaakko Eskola, Group Vice President, Ship Power.
Mr Ralf Lindbäck, LLM, has been appointed Director, Legal Affairs of Services business. He will report to Kari Hietanen and in matrix to Mr Tage Blomberg, Group Vice President, Services.
Ms Laura Susi-Gamba, LLM, has been appointed Director, Legal Affairs of Power Plants business. She will report to Kari Hietanen and in matrix to Mr Christoph Vitzthum, Group Vice President, Power Plants.
