It has turned out that information about Wärtsilä’s company secrets has reached the hands of outsiders. The case is under investigation by the National Bureau of Investigation’s unit in Vaasa.
Both outsiders and at least one Wärtsilä employee are involved in the case.
No further details can yet be revealed about the matter since the police investigation is still in progress. For the same reason the extent of any damage to the company cannot yet be assessed.
