Sampo plc has today informed Wärtsilä Corporation that it has sold Wärtsilä shares on the 3 July 2007 and now owns less than a twentieth (1/20) of the company’s number of votes in the shares. Following the transaction Sampo now owns 584,668 A shares or 0.61% of Wärtsilä’s share capital and 1.90% of the total votes.
