Subscription of shares under Wärtsilä’s 2001 option scheme began on 1 April 2003. Altogether 56,500 options were exercised between 1 April and 22 April 2005, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, entitling subscription of 84,750 Wärtsilä B shares. The increase in share capital resulting from these subscriptions totals EUR 296,625.
Under the terms of the 2002 option scheme the share subscription period began on 1 April 2004. Altogether 62,000 options were exercised between 1 April and 22 April 2005, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, entitling subscription of 93,000 Wärtsilä B shares. The increase in share capital resulting from these subscriptions totals EUR 325,500.
The total increase in the company’s share capital is EUR 622,125, after which the share capital amounts to EUR 324,549,284.50 and the total number of shares to 92,728,367 divided to 23,579,587 Series A shares and 69,148,780 Series B shares.
The company will register the increase in share capital in the Trade Register.
