Jyrki Laurikainen, M.Sc. (Tech.), has been appointed Corporate Real Estate Director in Wärtsilä Corporation as of 1 March 2011. Mr Laurikainen is responsible for Wärtsilä’s real estate activities globally, improving efficiency and developing new standards and ways of working in Real Estate operations.
During the past eight years Mr Laurikainen has been working in Hewlett-Packard in leading positions related to real estate management. In his latest position he was responsible for construction services in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mr Laurikainen will report to Raimo Lind, Executive Vice President & CFO, Wärtsilä Corporation.
