DCD>Connect New York brings together senior leaders involved in North America’s largest data centre projects to exchange insights, build partnerships, and explore solutions shaping the future of digital infrastructure. The event focuses on collaboration across power, cooling, IT, and sustainability challenges facing modern data centres.
We will take part in a Tech Showcase session titled “Keeping AI running smoothly with onsite generation and energy storage”, highlighting how hybrid power solutions support the reliability and power quality requirements of AI‑driven data centres.
Scott Blalock, General Manager, Global Integrated Applications Engineering, and Scott Yappen, Senior Business Development Manager at Wärtsilä, will present findings from a hybrid power plant study, demonstrating how onsite generation, battery energy storage, and energy management software can respond to highly volatile AI load profiles while maintaining efficient and stable operation.
