Wärtsilä 32

Wärtsilä 32 diesel engine generating set is extremely reliable with a track record from the mid-1990s. It features a wide power output range from 5.6 to 9.8 MW, as it is available in 12V, 16V and 20V cylinder configurations. More than 8 000 MW of the Wärtsilä 32 engine generating sets have been delivered to energy customers globally. Wärtsilä engine power plants can be delivered both as EPC and Equipment Delivery contracts.

  • Italgreen, Italy

    Wärtsilä was contracted to extend a liquid biofuel-fired plant in Monopoli, on the south-east coast of Italy. The contract comprises a third Wärtsilä 18V32 diesel generating set burning vegetable oil. Previously Wärtsilä had been selected to supply the first two generating sets (2 x 8 MWe), which were handed over in August 2004.
