Mina Pirquitas, has relied on Wärtsilä since 2009 to ensure a reliable power supply in one of Argentina's most challenging regions. With three engines in an N+1 configuration, the plant ensures high availability and zero operational downtime related to power generation. For more than 15 years, Wärtsilä has supported the operation with services, parts, and upgrades, contributing to the continuity of the mine, whose useful life has been extended beyond 2030.
