The Wärtsilä Marine internship program has been successfully running for over 20 years, providing valuable opportunities for interns from local universities (CIS region). Across the USA, our professionals are located in nine regional locations including Puerto Rico.
Our US Energy headquarters is home to the Wärtsilä Houston Expertise Centre that delivers remote support to our U.S. and Canadian energy customers with advice and recommendations based on analysis of monitoring data.

Ft. Lauderdale is home to the Wärtsilä Land & Sea Academy in North America. Our Academy provides training and competence development programs to increase skills of both our customers and own personnel.
We arrange specialized training programs for the cruise industry, offshore drilling, coast guards, tankers and other marine areas as well as power generation sector. These programs focus on heavy fuel plants, cogeneration, natural gas and crude oil.
