The modularised skid design enables easy lifting, while a noise reducing feature increases onboard comfort. Furthermore, the proprietary design enables less seawater consumption and better flow of the seawater through the cooling chamber.
The IGG has been specifically engineered to accommodate the customer’s requirements. The entire unit will be manufactured in a single location, and will undergo a full-scale test using seawater and diesel oil before it is installed. The equipment is scheduled to be delivered by Wärtsilä in the fourth quarter of 2016.
