With effect from March 1, 2023, Matthias Marquardt will take over the position of Managing Director of Wärtsilä Deutschland GmbH in Hamburg, succeeding Matthias Becker, who is leaving the company at his own request.
Matthias Marquardt has been with the company since 2011 and brings with him extensive experience from the operational business, also as a Workshop Manager. Matthias Marquardt will continue in his position as Director Marine Power Business Development & Compliance, Marine Power Finance and Control, which he holds since 2022, alongside his duties as Managing Director.
