A biogas liquefaction plant supplied by Wärtsilä converts household food waste to liquid biogas for buses in Oslo, Norway. CO2 emissions will be reduced by 10,000 tons a year, particle emissions significantly lowered and noise level reduced.
Wärtsilä will supply main engines, generators and integrated LNG storage and fuel gas handling systems (LNGPac™) for the largest LNG conversions ever undertaken in North America. The contract was signed with Totem Ocean Trailer Express.
Wärtsilä and Van Oord, the Netherlands based contractor for dredging and offshore projects, have entered into an exclusive partnership for all field service and parts supply. The agreement covers preventive and corrective engine maintenance on Van Oord’s fleet of dredging and other vessels.
