Transas VTMIS for the Gulf of Finland is one of the most significant projects if VTMS implementation. Under the contract Transas delivered and installed a total of 17 radar sites on islands and at shore locations of the Gulf. The vessel traffic information received from the radars is transmitted using radio relay communication lines and processed in a fleet monitoring center of Saint-Petersburg.
