Congratulations to our Wärtsilä Team who joined thousands of other runners in the annual Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run held in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
The Wärtsilä running team participated in the friendly 5k run/walk competition together with 275 other companies from the local South Florida area to promote employee wellness and fitness in April.
Our group had some great finishing times that placed the Wärtsilä team with these impressive final results*:
Overall 3rd place (Male)
Overall 9th place (Male)
Overall 15th place (Coed)
Overall 19th place (Female)
*each group comprised of 4 different employees
In total, the 2018 Corporate Run welcomed 8,469 participants.The Wärtsilä runners are already looking forward to next year's event and beating their records!
