BlackRock, Inc. has informed Wärtsilä Corporation that it has purchased Wärtsilä shares on 29 June 2012 and now owns more than one twentieth (1/20) of the company’s votes. Following the transaction BlackRock Inc. owns 9,945,554 shares or 5.04% of Wärtsilä’s share capital and total votes.
