Wärtsilä in Denmark has developed a unique technique of cold straightening, which permits straightening of shafts of virtually most sizes and forms. The technique is more than 40 years old and has been developed and improved over the years. We have achieved the approval from all major Classification Societies who consider the repair as permanent.
Straightening is economic, and can save the owner both time and money – straightening of a shaft is much faster than production of a new shaft and costs only a fraction of the new price.
