Wärtsilä West Africa (WWA) started its operations in West Africa in 1996 in Dakar-Senegal. In 2004 an office was established in Guinea, and 6 years later another in Lomé, Togo. Lately, in 2013, the Mauritanian office was open in Nouakchott.
Today, in Wärtsilä West Africa Services, 121 employees are dedicated to the satisfaction of our customers’ needs: 70 employees are working in Senegal, 40 in Guinea, 3 in Togo and 8 in Mauritania.

Wärtsilä West Africa provides services for the power suppliers, marine, cement and mining industries. 1000 MW of power have been installed in the region by Wärtsilä. As a services branch, Wärtsilä West Africa operates and maintains 248 of installed MW located in different power plants in the region.
