The order received by Wärtsilä in May for five gas power plants has now been confirmed in its entirety. The value of the four power plants, for which financing negotiations were in progress, is approximately EUR 130 million and they have a total output of 370 MW.
The first power plant in the order, with a value of roughly EUR 30 million and output of 80 MW, was confirmed earlier.
Deliveries of the gas power plants to the Azerbaijani electricity company Azerenerji will mainly take place next year. Wärtsilä will supply the machinery and equipment for the gas power plants. Their construction will be handled by the local party.
