Subscription of shares under Wärtsilä’s 2001 option scheme began on 1 April 2003. Altogether 26,200 options were exercised between 14 June and 27 July 2005, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, entitling subscription of 39,300 Wärtsilä B shares. The increase in share capital resulting from these subscriptions totals EUR 137,550.
Under the terms of the 2002 option scheme the share subscription period began on 1 April 2004. Altogether 23,000 options were exercised between 14 June and 27 July 2005, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, entitling subscription of 34,500 Wärtsilä B shares. The increase in share capital resulting from these subscriptions totals EUR 120,750.
The total increase in the company’s share capital is EUR 258,300, after which the share capital amounts to EUR 325,760,459.50 and the total number of shares to 93,074,417 divided to 23,579,587 Series A shares and 69,494,830 Series B shares.
The company will register the increase in share capital in the Trade Register.
