Navi-Port facilitates the exchange of accurate arrival times between ports and ships, enabling vessels to automatically adjust speed to achieve just-in-time arrival. Dynamic, real-time data sharing improves coordination allowing for modifications to course and speed should conditions at port change during a voyage.</p>

          Radar Merging

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28">Merging of Radar videos in a type approved Radar layer for minimized blank sectors and increased situational awareness. Merged scanners are selectable on every MFD that features Radar application. <br /><br /><small>Note: Merged Radars must be of same frequency (X/S-Band)</small> </p>

          Integrated Ice Radar

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28">The integrated non SOLAS Ice Radar application provides an ICE Radar image within the NACOS Platinum Radar PPI. An Ice Radar workstation (same hardware as MFD is required) connected to the NACOS Platinum network is running the video processing software utilizing the raw radar video of a selected X-Band transceiver. The Ice Radar image can be combined with other layers such as ECDIS, routes, targets and others in the same way as a conventional radar application.</p>

          Integrated Wave Radar

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28">The integrated non SOLAS Wave Radar application provides essential wave field parameters such as significant wave height, period and lengths as well as a polar diagram of wave energy of waves around the vessel in a dedicated HMI. A wave radar workstation (same hardware as MFD is required) connected to the NACOS Platinum network is running the wave analysis software utilizing the raw radar video of a dedicated X-Band transceiver is calculating all relevant information.</p>

          Heading Mode

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28">In this mode, the TRACKPILOT steers with a pre-set heading. Wind and current influences are not corrected.</p>

          Course Mode

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28">In this mode, the TRACKPILOT steers with a pre-set course. Wind and current are considered and a drift correction angle will be calculated.</p>

          Track Mode

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28">In this mode, the TRACKPILOT steers with a sequence of waypoints. Wind and current are considered and a drift correction angle will be calculated.</p>

          SPEEDPILOT Mode

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28">This mode offers additional automatic execution of the speed pattern of a pre-planned route. It allows constant speed or constant RPM operation. Or, with Speed Profile Mode it allows specific speeds per route segment. It also has an Arrival Time Mode, where speed is automatically adjusted to meet a set arrival time. </p>&nbsp;<p class="voyage__p--20-28" style="margin-top:20px;">Full list of SPEEDPILOT sub-modes: </p><ul><li>Set Lever Mode </li><li>Set RPM Mode </li><li>Set Speed Mode (SOG or STW) </li><li>Arrival Time Mode </li><li>Planned Speed Mode </li></ul>

          Anchor Control Mode

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28">This mode keeps the ship&rsquo;s heading and within user defined limits during anchor operation by extending the TRACKPILOT interface to actuate the ship&rsquo;s stern transversal thruster or an azimuth thruster. </p>

          FLIR Integration

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28" style="margin-top:20px;">NACOS Platinum allows a type approved integration of a network based Multi-sensor FLIR camera (daylight and infrared camera). The Camera is connected through a secondary network. The camera view is available on a Conning page and allows operation by a virtual Joystick.<br /><br /><small>Compatible with FLIR M Series Cameras. <br />Requires additional hardware.</small></p>

          FARSOUNDER Forward looking Sonar integration

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28" style="margin-top:20px;">The FARSOUNDER Forward Looking Sonar is integrated to NACOS Platinum as a client application to the FARSOUNDER System (Server). Up to 4 Platinum Operator Workstations can be connected as clients through a separate network. 3D view of the seabed in front can be combined with ECDIS monitoring utilizing a two display monitor setup for a workstation.<br /><br /><small>Requires additional hardware.</small></p>

          Dynamic Environmental Data overlay

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28" style="margin-top:20px;">Layer based visualization of environmental data such as ocean current, wind, air pressure and wave height for the time line of predicted data. <br /><small>Requires environmental data subscription service. </small></p>

          FUGRO Docking System integration

          <p class="voyage__p--20-28" style="margin-top:20px;">FUGRO Docking system is interfaced to NACOS Platinum using a DPU2020 serial interface unit. Currently, it is the only laser sensor in the market to provide positive target identification. This means it can ignore reflections from all shiny and reflective surfaces for the safest navigation. CyScan AS can also provide the global position through a feature called CyScan GeoLock.
