Our modern-equipped training area in Hamburg offers national and international participants the best conditions for a successful learning programme. The Wärtsilä Training Centre Hamburg can provide the same training courses onboard ships, or via our approved training agents.
With several integrated navigation bridges, and with numerous standalone units, the training centre replicates the same functions that crews and service engineers have to master onboard seagoing ships, and in ports and shipyards. The training equipment is connected with several professional ship handling simulators. It allows an excellent combination of object‐oriented teaching with practical exercises.
The Wärtsilä Training Centre Hamburg issues a yearly programme with various courses for users and service engineers. The operator’s training programme bears the name NACOS USER. It combines several education grades, from basic to advanced users, as well as providing tailored courses, e.g. ECDIS type specific training. The NACOS SERVICE training programme for service engineers provides all the necessary know-how for field work on various Wärtsilä SAM Electronics systems and solutions. Training programme NACOS USER.
