Wärtsilä Ship Design’s 80m maintenance/work vessel, the ‘C4687’, is of twin engine configuration with a fixed pitch propeller. It is designed and equipped for a wide range of maintenance work and related duties.
The built in deck area of 700m2 provides ample deck space for cargo, maintenance work and crane operation. The deck strength of 10t/m2 fortifies the vessel to carry heavy containers, pipes and equipment.
Akin to a floating hotel, the C4687 is capable of accommodating up to 199 special personnel, and meets the stringent Z2008 SPS Code of safety for special purpose ships requirements. Being a work vessel, it is fitted with 4 delta-flipper anchors and 4 points mooring for positioning during ship operations.
