Accéder à la version française
To protect our environment, human health and natural resources, the European Union has adopted a directive concerning waste electrical and electronic equipment
In the context of European Directive 2012/19/EU relating to the treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), products sold after 13 August 2005 must bear a symbol representing a "crossed out wheelie bin" indicating to the user that this product must not be treated as conventional waste. Failing this, the date on which the equipment was put on the market can be taken into account.
To ensure our accountability as a manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment, we provide details of the procedure for dealing with waste Whessoe SAS or Wärtsilä France SAS (Calais factory) electrical and electronic equipment in your possession which was put on the market after 13 August 2005.
