Wärtsilä in the UK

In light of the uncertainty and upheaval we are currently facing due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are diligently following advice and best practices from the UK Government, Department of Health and UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office amongst others.

The majority of our employees are working from home until further notice and our offices are operating with a skeleton staff where home working is not possible.  We have done this to protect our staff, visitors and the wider community during the outbreak.  It is not yet known when our employees will be able to return to the office, but our staff will be contactable by phone and e-mail as usual. We have advised against face-to-face meetings and would request that any urgent meetings be carried out by virtual meeting tools instead.  

Our UK Workshops and Field Services team remain operational at this moment for all UK based requirements subject to any travel and health restrictions where they may apply, and Wärtsilä  UK endeavours to support our customers in this regard, especially those designated as essential services. For installations overseas, we will also coordinate with other Wärtsilä  teams in country to also support wherever possible.
