Ms Marica Lassus appointed Communication Manager of Wärtsilä in Finland
Ms Marica Lassus (43) has been appointed Communication Manager and a member of the Management team of Wärtsilä Finland. She will report to Juha Kytölä, President of Wärtsilä Finland.
Marica Lassus has a wide experience of various sectors of communications. Since 2003 she has worked as Communication Manager for Citec companies in Vaasa, Finland. Before that she was Vice President, Corporate Communications at Sanitec Corporation responsible for internal and external communication and investor relations. During 1997-99 she worked as IR-manager of Metra Corporation. During 1986-1999 she worked for Wärtsilä Diesel both in Vaasa, Helsinki and Strasbourg at first as an executive assistant and later financial controller.
Marica Lassus will start in Wärtsilä on 1 February 2008 and will be located in Vaasa.
