Päivi Castrén chosen the Human Resources Director of the year
The top Human Resources Managers from the biggest Finnish companies selected Wärtsilä's Päivi Castrén as the Human Resources Director of the year. The nomination was published on Tuesday at ‘600Minutes Human Resources’ event which is an annually organized occasion designed specifically for Human Resources Directors. The event is arranged in several European countries.
In the argumentation Päivi Castrén was described as a charismatic leader with a vision and who always has a business driven approach in everything she does. She was also characterized as a leader who inspires employees so that the company mission, vision and strategy are clear to everyone. Additionally it was mentioned that Päivi has interest in HR matters on many levels of the organization.
