The 'Aker Barents' started drilling in 2009 for oil and gas on the Norwegian continental shelf. The new H6e rig is designed to operate in tough environments and at water depths of 3000 metres. Wärtsilä supplied to the drilling rig thrusters motors, transformers, VSDs and switchboards.
Commissioned in 2003, the ‘Almirante Don Juan De Borbon’ is the second of five Alvaro de Bazan Class multipurpose frigates (also known as F100 frigates) operated by the Spanish Navy. For each vessel, Wärtsilä supplies two controllable pitch propellers and the shafting systems.

Delivered in 2003, the 6384 dwt tanker ‘Bitflower’ features a machinery installation incorporating a Wärtsilä 6L38B main engine with an output of 4350 kW at 600 rpm. In addition to the Wärtsilä 6L38B engine, the ‘Bitflower’ also features a Wärtsilä SCV85 reduction gearbox, a Wärtsilä bow thruster, and a controllable pitch propeller.
The ‘Brabo’ entered service in 2007. The vessel is designed to work in shallow waters, and for applications such as, port maintenance, beach replenishment, and land reclamation projects. The major part of the pumping power is delivered by the two Wärtsilä engines – a Wärtsilä 12V32 and a Wärtsilä 8L32.

Delivered in 2011, the 'Christina E' has an integrated loading, cooling, and unloading system to enhance the quality of the stored fish. As a state-of-the-art fishing vessel designed by Wärtsilä Ship Design to perform purse seining/trawling and research operations, the vessel features technologies that minimize its environmental impact.
