The marine and offshore engineering industry in Singapore has come a long way since a group of shipyards came together in 1968 to form a collective body to champion and develop the ship repair and shipbuilding industry.
Today, the industry comprises a comprehensive ecosystem of shipyards, classification societies and companies engaged in manufacturing, supply and servicing of marine and offshore equipment and products as well as providers of naval design, engineering services and marine solutions.
Wärtsilä In Singapore was set up in 1982 and today, it has over 400 professionals in 3 different locations in the west, to serve our customers in both the marine and the energy sectors. We have one workshops in Pandan Crescent with a total floor area of 18,588 sq m for the engine servicing, overhauling, repairing and reconditioning of marine 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines of all makes .
Over the years, with several acquisitions, today, our customers can rely on Wärtsilä as a "Total Solutions" provider. To mention some special services - underwater water repairs on thrusters and propellers.
