Wärtsilä’s global network of service centers, workshops, and service professionals is the most extensive in the industry. Our 4,500 Field Services professionals are spread all around the world in 70 countries in order to serve our customers in a prompt manner.

Our 70 workshops are equipped with high standard machines, tools and equipment, which are operated by highly trained personnel. These workshops can handle all types of maintenance, repair work, remanufacturing and upgrades or modifications. We can also take care of the logistic chain between your installation and our workshops.

Field Services work requires experienced and skilled people, and we only allow qualified personnel to work on your installation. The work is always done according to the requirements of major classification societies and according to OEM standards, regardless of where it is done.

Competence management is the key for having skilled professionals. Our Field Services engineers are extensively trained in performing specialist tests and diagnostics at an installation. Our training modules are performed at our training centres around the globe.

Our business premises provide a safe and healthy working environment for our employees and partners, and all our local companies comply with local legislation. Our personnel, including Field Services staff, is trained regularly in health and safety matters including the use of protective equipment. Field Services professionals are trained and certified for working on installations anywhere.
