Navy vessels are exposed to numerous underwater threats like mines and submarines. These threats cannot be detected by radar or camera systems.

The compact dual-frequency sonar Wärtsilä ELAC VANGUARD closes this security gap. By combining 3D mine avoidance capabilities with a full-fledged underwater situational awareness system and a wideband passive sonar, Wärtsilä ELAC VANGUARD offers the perfect all-in-one sonar solution for any military surface vessel.
