In Norway we are over 1100 employees who develop, produce, repair and maintain gears and propulsion systems for all types and sizes of ships and offshore installations. We also develop and produce complete automation and control systems for electric propulsion and dynamic positioning. Recently Wärtsilä also acquired the global ship design group Vik-Sandvik, a world leading marine consultants design company situated in Fitjar, Norway.
Wärtsilä's headquarters in Norway are located at Bømlo and Stord, and we also have offices in Fitjar, Trondheim, Oslo, Ålesund, Stavanger, Bergen and Haugesund.
