The new warehouse in Schiedam has a reception area where we can receive hauliers and customers. The core of the warehouse is the Pick-O-Mat. This is an automated system. The warehouse assistant enters the packing list into the computer. The printer prints a sticker with all the relevant details of the spare part concerned. The Pick-O-Mat has an open space at working height where a tray with the requested spare part automatically arrives for the assistant to collect. If there are several spare parts in the tray a laser beam will indicate where the requested spare part is. The spare part is taken out, wrapped, stickered and ready for shipment.
