Wärtsilä Services – worldwide service for customers under one brand –  Wärtsilä

Ciserv, the group of service companies owned by Wärtsilä, will be integrated within Wärtsilä’s service organization with effect from 1 May 2006. Operating under the new name Wärtsilä Services, the business will be one of the largest worldwide service organizations in the power and marine industries.

“At the same time as we broaden our range of services, we are also focusing them under one brand. With the recent acquisition of companies specializing in automation and other services, we have further strengthened our ship power and power plant service portfolio in terms of products and lifecycle service support,” says Tage Blomberg, Group Vice President & Head of Wärtsilä Services.

Ciserv, with operations in ten countries, has supported Wärtsilä’s growth in new market segments. The Ciserv products and specialist services will now be integrated with Wärtsilä’s existing portfolio to give customers the most comprehensive range of services available.
