Wärtsilä´s acquisition of the Danish propulsion system service company JMC Marine A/S has been finalised. JMC Marine is specialised on propulsion system maintenance based on laser measuring technology. The turnover of the company is DKK 27 million (EUR 3.6 million) and the number of employees 28.
The acquired company will be named Ciserv Denmark and it will concentrate on service for propulsion systems and engine repair.
The acquisition consists of the laser measuring and alignment business. It also includes vibration measuring, analysis and services of monitoring systems and engine repair. The company will be consolidated in Wärtsilä with immediate effect.
