Subscription of shares under Wärtsilä’s 2001 option scheme began on 1 April 2003. Altogether 2,500 options were exercised between 27 July 2006 and 7 September 2006, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, entitling subscription of 3,750 Wärtsilä B shares. The increase in share capital resulting from these subscriptions totals EUR 13,125.00.
Under the terms of the 2002 option scheme the share subscription period began on 1 April 2004. Altogether 12,300 options were exercised between 27 July 2006 and 7 September 2006, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, entitling subscription of 18,450 Wärtsilä B shares. The increase in share capital resulting from these subscriptions totals EUR 64,575.00.
The total increase in the company’s share capital is EUR 77,700.00, after which the share capital amounts to EUR 331,199,018.50 and the total number of shares to 94,628,291 divided to 23,579,587 Series A shares and 71,048,704 Series B shares.
The company will register the increase in share capital in the Trade Register.
