The Wärtsilä Korea Industrial Operation business unit is covering all local activites supporting the engine builders.
We operate site offices at our licesees Doosan Engine and HHI-EMD. The site office staff provides support to the Licensees in:

Design

Manufacturing
-
Testing
-
Operational matters
Our inspectors attend component and assembly inspections at the Licensee and their sub-suppliers. The engine performance is verified during shop tests and sea trials in Korea by our operations engineers.
Our Product Engineering team consists of design, machining, welding, materials, casting and NDT experts are supporting the licensees and their sub-suppliers during manufacturing.
The Non Conformity Team handles non-conformities and modifications together with the licensees and our service department.
