The Wärtsilä success story in India is rather well known by now. This year is the twentieth year of the formation of Wärtsilä India as a Company. Though Wärtsilä started its operations in India in the early eighties, the company was formed in 1986 in order to offer better services to the fast growing customer base.
In India the brand Wärtsilä is a very powerful one and is perhaps most well recognized in India outside Finland. It is a name that means trust, reliability and excellence to the customer.
